Auckland Sword and Shield will be hosting a medieval feast after the Steve Hodgson Tournament on Saturday the 8th of August. All participants and spectators from the tournament are welcome to attend. The doors open at 6PM with the feast getting underway at 7PM.
Attending the feast is free but you must bring a plate (of food) to share. Each plate should have enough portions so that 8-10 people can sample it (e.g. 10 small pieces of chicken, 8 bread rolls, etc). To ensure that there isn’t too much duplication in dishes please email or text Marc Griffith the dish you plan to bring along and he’ll tell you if it’s being done already.
It will be a buffet or plates in the middle of the table depending on numbers. The kitchen at the venue is small but can be used for cooking or reheating and has a standard oven, hob, zip, and microwave.
Garb is encouraged but not required. Bring your own utensils to eat and drink with (as well as your own drinks). We also recommend you bring your own serving implements.
There will be space for dancing and music so come prepared.
